²⁹ You have moreover multiplied your fornication with the land of merchants, Chaldea. And yet you were not satisfied even with this.

³⁰ How weak is your heart, says the Lord God, seeing you do all these things, the works of an imperious harlot. ³¹ When you built your shrine at the head of every street and made your high place in every square, you have not been as a harlot in that you scorned payment.
